We have been notified by the ANCC that the Alaska Nurses Association (AaNA) is no longer an ANCC accredited approver unit. The reason for removal of AaNA’s accreditation is due to AaNA no longer being a Constituent Member Association (CMA) of the ANA, which is a required qualification to be an ANCC accredited approver. The Alaska Nurses Association is working on becoming an ANCC accredited provider of nursing CE. We are working to complete all pending applications that were in the process of approval.
You may contact an ANCC approved approver of nursing CE to apply to become an approved provider or to apply for contact hours for an educational program. ANCC has provided us with the following contact information for nearby ANCC approvers.
