Successful Implementation of the Dedicated Education Unit

Thomas Hendrix, PhD, RN to speak on the history of the Dedicated Education Unit (DEU), setting up the DEU model at Providence, working out the problems, and evolving to a successful student and staff nurse experience – will have data about the DEU model and enhanced critical thinking.

1. There is no conflict of interest for any program planner or presenter involved with this activity.
2. Criteria for successful completion include attending the entire presentation and completing an evaluation form. Upon successful completion, a CE certificate will be awarded for 1.25 contact hours.
3. This nursing CE activity is being provided by the Alaska Nurses Association (AaNA).
