Secretary: Paul Mordini, RN-BC, MS, BSN

Paul Mordini, MS, BSN, BC-Psychiatric & Mental Health RN, has 32 years of experience as an RN and currently serves as Health & Safety Committee Chair and secretary of the AaNA Board of Directors. Paul is a resident of Eagle River, Alaska and is employed by State of Alaska at Alaska Psychiatric Institute, where he works as Clinical Coordinator RN IV. Paul served as a Major in the USAF Nurse Corps for 20 years. He has previously served as vice president on the AaNA Board of Directors from 2009 to 2010, and as director at large from 2006 to 2009, during which he worked to pass the No Mandatory Overtime legislation. Paul holds strong interest in continuing to work to provide legislation to stem the increase of violence on health care workers, particularly nurses and technicians.
