Alaska Nurses Foundation: Promoting Alaska's Nursing Profession

The Alaska Nurses Foundation (AaNF) is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to increasing the public's knowledge and understanding of the profession of nursing and factors affecting the health of all Alaskans, as well as, supporting research and education in the profession.

We support nurses doing research in areas where their passion for the practice shines. The health of Alaskans is important to every nurse who practices and we believe nurses have first hand knowledge and ideas how best to promote healthy Alaskans.

The future of the Alaska Nurses Foundation depends on all nurses in Alaska who practice in a wide variety of settings with passion, commitment and dedication. Role models for the future of nursing are necessary and vital to the profession. Knowledge and education about what we do informs the public about how crucial our practice is for their health.
