	<font color="#000000" size="2">Cases of central line bloodstream infection decreased by 32% in 2010, according to a state-by-state report based on data from the CDC&#39;s National Healthcare Safety Network. Dr. Scott Fridkin of the CDC attributed the reduction to prevention programs on the national and state levels.
