Contaminants and Health: State of the Science on Endocrine Disruption and Need for Primary Prevention


Pamela Miller, M.En., to speak on the latest science concerning the endocrine-disrupting and multi-generational effects of toxic chemicals in our air, water, food and household products. The presenter will identify common environmental pollutants and consumer product chemicals that may act as endocrine disrupting compounds and will discuss mechanisms of environmental contributors to disease outcomes. We will discuss opportunities for health care professionals to engage in individual and collective actions to prevent harm and enact protective policies.
